Polydor has continued to ramp up its A&R team with the appointment of Elle Simionescu-Marin as A&R consultant.

Known as the co-editor and brand manager of GRM Daily, Simionescu-Marin revealed the news this week on Instagram. Her appointment follows the return of Rich Castillo to the UK earlier this month, as he joins Polydor as senior A&R manager from Universal Canada.

Simionescu-Marin said: "I'm over the moon to be joining the Polydor family at such an exciting time of new energy and change. With the incredible duo Ben & Tom heading up the team, and Rich Castillo back like he never left after his stint in Toronto, who wouldn't be?!

"We've seen some fantastic successes across the board from the UK's urban music scene so far this year, but, as many will probably tell you, this really is just the beginning. I can't wait to bring more incredible underground talent through. The scene's about to get a very healthy shake up. Let the games begin!"
