Partisan Records has announced the appointment of Sara Dempsey to the newly created position of director of sales.
Dempsey joins from ABKCO, where her campaigns included several Rolling Stones reissues and the Big Little Lies soundtrack.
Dempsey said: “I am ecstatic to join the Partisan team. I've long admired Partisan, not only for their amazing roster and brilliant A&R, but for the passion and innovation they bring to their campaigns. They're great people doing great work.”
Having also served at Interscope, ADA and The Orchard, Dempsey will oversee Partisan’s sales and streaming strategy, reporting to label manager Andy Hsueh and global managing director Zena White.

Partisan has increased its global workforce by 25% over the past 12 months, a period that has seen breakthrough campaigns for Cigarettes After Sex and Idles. Bombino’s Deran has also been nominated for the Grammys, while 2019 will bring new albums from Cigarettes After Sex, Deer Tick, Fontaines DC and more.
