Former Polydor exec Tom Hoare has returned to the music business after a period working in film.
Hoare begins in a new role today (November 11) as head of digital at Syco Music.
It follows two years as head of digital marketing at Universal Pictures.
In a social media post confirming the move, Hoare said: “Has been a fun couple of years in the film biz, next step is taking me back to my music roots and a return to that major label madness I know & love.”
Hoare was previously senior digital marketing manager at Polydor for three years up to December 2017. He worked on digital campaigns for artists including The 1975.
From 2012 to 2015, Hoare was digital channel manager at PIAS.
