Island’s famed A&R team will become an “even stronger force”, following the appointment of Daniel Lloyd Jones alongside Annie Christensen as co-head of A&R.

The label has a fearsome reputation for long-term artist development with signings such as U2, Florence + The Machine and PJ Harvey, and both execs say that will be crucial in the red hot A&R environment.
