Virgin EMI managing director Clive Cawley has told Music Week that the label is doing everything in its power to ensure that The Killers’ new album Wonderful Wonderful gets to No.1.
If it were to reach the top spot, it would make it the fifth No.1 album in a row for the band and the seventh No.1 album for frontman Brandon Flowers, whose two solo albums, 2010’s Flamingo and 2015’s The Desired Effect, both topped the UK Album Chart.
