The line-up for the BBC Introducing Stage at the Radio 1’s Big Weekend have been revealed, with Declan McKenna, Life, Loyle Carner and The Big Moon among those confirmed to perform at the Hull event later this month.
The acts were announced last night on BBC Radio 1 by MistaJam and Huw Stephens.
Taking place at Hull’s Burton Constable Hall on Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28, the event’s BBC Introducing Stage will look to showcase the most exciting new talent from across the UK.
Saturday will see C.O. AKA Chiedu Oraka, Declan McKenna, FLawes, Krrum, Life, Scorpz, Shells, Stevie Parker, Superfood, The Hubbards, The Modern Strangers and Zulu take to the stage.
On Sunday, it’s Brand New Friend, Cosima, Freak, Haarm, Jack Conman, Loyle Carner, Lumer, Mullally, Our Girl, Pale Waves, Seramic and The Big Moon.
Stephens said: “Once again we have a brilliant line up for the BBC Introducing stage. The gigs at the Radio 1 Academy have been a lot of fun with Introducing Humberside, and we look forward to continuing the fun at Radio 1's Big Weekend. It's great to see Hull band Life returning to play for us too, as well as some really exciting new artists.”
