Believe has secured a physical and digital distribution agreement with Six et Sept, the new independent label venture set up by ex-Universal Music France boss Pascal Nègre.
Nègre ran Universal Music France for 26 years before stepping down earlier this year. He has since started new independent label Six et Sept as a joint venture with RTL Group and its subsidiary M6, the French television network.
"Having a distributor who has a real ability to develop projects both in France and worldwide, as well as being at the forefront of digital expertise but also highly capable in the physical market is a real opportunity for Six et Sept," said Nègre (pictured). "We’re very happy to work with Believe’s motivated teams and their visionary president Denis Ladegaillerie"
Six et Sept is being run day-to-day by Julien Creuzard, the former head of Capitol and Polydor in France.
"Both our artistic visions perfectly complement each other. Believe is a committed partner for our ambitious projects - it is a promising and exciting agreement", said Creuzard.
Believe’s CEO Denis Ladegaillerie added: "The combined experience that Pascal and Julien have in developing artists is exceptional and unique in France. I am convinced that this collaboration with Believe will bring about many new talents."
The next release on the label will take place in the last quarter of 2017.
