Multi-platinum US group Bell Biv DeVoe have signed with UTA for representation in all areas worldwide.
A byproduct of the 1980s vocal quintet New Edition, Bell Biv DeVoe (BBD) have sold more than 20 million albums in a career spanning more than 25 years.
The group's debut album Poison sold four million copies and featured four classic hits: the platinum-selling title track, Do Me, When Will I See You Smile Again, and BBD...I Thought It Was Me.
BBD's follow-up album, WBBD-Bootcity (A Remix LP) sold over 700,000 units, while the 1993 album Hootie Mack was certified gold. The group has also been nominated for numerous Grammys, American Music Awards, two Soul Train Awards and has been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Awards from both Soul Train and BET.
BBD also co-produced the BET bio-pic, The New Edition Story, which aired in January last year.
Bell Biv DeVoe will continue to be represented by Six One Seven Management.
