Brighton Music Conference grows again

Organisers of Brighton Music Conference (BMC) have reported another year of growth for its fourth edition last month.

The two-day electronic music conference, which was held at Brighton Dome and various other venues in the city, registered significant increases in both Professional and Academy delegates. The event drew leading music industry figures, artists and DJs, tech brands, and students from across the UK, with industry professionals flying in from Europe and the US.

“This year was a huge success," said BMC organiser Billy Mauseth. "BMC attracted more professionals and students than ever before, and we had a programme packed with leading figures from across the industry.

"It’s really encouraging to see the level of future business and creative talent that’s coming through; we’ve worked hard to establish ourselves as the UK’s leading electronic music conference and the opportunity to grow with the next generation of music industry figures is really exciting.”

BMC17 welcomed key industry figures from AFEM, BPI, PRS for Music, PPL, Ministry of Sound, Sony, Fabric, Live Nation, Beatport, Mixcloud, Mixmag, Defected, NTIA, Toolroom, Hospital Records, MMF, DJ Mag, AEI, UKF, Brapp TV, PIAS, Loopmasters, Insanity, Sub Club, Clintons, Crown Management, Roland, Serato, Sheridans, BIMM, Anglo Digital Management, Shogun Audio, and beyond.
