Music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins has announced CAA agent Emma Banks as the newest member of its Board of Trustees.
The 2018 MITs Award winner (pictured) is co-head of CAA’s London office, where she represents acts including Katy Perry, Muse, Arcade Fire, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Florence + The Machine, Marilyn Manson, Kylie Minogue and Green Day.
Banks is a longstanding supporter of Nordoff Robbins and has been chair of the charity’s flagship fundraising event, the O2 Silver Clef Awards, for the past five years and in this time has helped to raise over £5.5 million for the charity. She also sits on the Nordoff Robbins Race Day committee.
“It’s a privilege to be joining Nordoff Robbins’ Board of Trustees," said Banks. "Supporting the charity has always made complete sense to me – I honestly don’t know of a better charity to get behind than one which uses music to bring so much joy, comfort and hope to people experiencing so many different challenges in life. I relish the opportunity to contribute to the Board and the strategies that will help to safeguard the charity’s music therapy delivery for years to come.”
Banks will now join the charity’s Board of Trustees which is made up of members from across the music industry, accountancy, public health and law, who work together to take an informed and strategic overview of the charity’s activities.
