Attitude is Everything have announced the appointment of Ground Control managing director Jon Drape as one of their patrons.
With 25 years of experience in international touring, Drape has contributed to the developments of a number of UK festivals, including Parklife and Festival Number 6 as well as production management for the Manchester club The Haçienda.
Ground Control delivers a host of UK festivals that have qualified for Attitude is Everything’s Charter of Best Practice, with The Parklife Weekender, Kendal Calling and Festival Number 6 all awarded Silver Level status. In 2015, Ground Control became one of Attitude is Everything’s corporate donors.
Drape said: “It’s an honour to join Attitude Is Everything’s exemplary roll call of Patrons. I have the utmost belief in Attitude Is Everything’s aims and am looking forward to taking an active role in helping them to continue in their great work for deaf and disabled music lovers.
“Their work makes a genuine, positive change to music events – both attitudinally and physically – and I hope that I can support them in achieving their ambitions."
