The IMS (International Music Summit) celebrates its 10th anniversary next year, returning to Ibiza from May 24-26.
Taking place at Ibiza’s Hard Rock Hotel, the event will once again see a wide range of professionals and executives from across the dance community take part in a series of talks, seminars, workshops and networking opportunities.
During its 10 years, IMS has featured an array of high-profile speakers, from the likes of David Lynch, Quincy Jones, Chuck D, P.Diddy, Nile Rodgers and Giorgio Moroder, to the founders of You Tube, Instagram and Twitter.
In addition, IMS 2017 will also host several live events at some of the island’s most iconic venues, including Pacha, DC10, Amnesia and Ushuaia.
Speaker and performer details will be announced soon.
“We wanted to put a professional face to the island of Ibiza, the global dance music destination that defined our genre,” said Ben Turner, co-founder, IMS. “We ended up focusing on the world. From Los Angeles to Shanghai, IMS has reached a key landmark in its lifespan and we can’t wait to celebrate this decade by looking forwards, not back. The genre has exploded during our ten years and we’re happy to have grown around the world in parallel.”
