Music curator Jazz Re:Freshed and showcase producer British Underground have today (February 14) announced the return of UK Jazz to SXSW Festival with a 2018 showcase to celebrate emerging UK jazz artists.

The showcase in Austin TX will feature a line-up including Nubya Garcia, Zara McFarlane, Ezra Collective, Blue Lab Beats, Ashley Henry and the Re:Ensemble and Moses Boyd, Solo X.

The event - which will take place on Wednesday March 14 from 8pm - follows on from the launch of Jazz Re:Freshed Outernational, a two year global partnership project presenting the artists at the frontline of the UK jazz revolution.

Speaking about the event, Nubya Garcia, who was nominated for Jazz FMs Breakthrough Act of the Year, stated: “I’m incredibly excited and really grateful to be heading out to SXSW alongside bands and friends I’ve grown up with, it’s going to be really special. I’m looking forward to playing my music to a new audience!”
