Handel & Hendrix In London is presenting the Hendrix Flat Sessions, a series of performances by contemporary artists filmed inside Jimi Hendrix' old bedroom in Mayfair.
The guitar great held now legendary jam sessions at his London flat in 1969 with the likes of George Harrison, Ritchie Havens and Roland Kirk and many others - and Handel & Hendrix in London is bidding to recapture some of that spirit.
Blues star Joanne Shaw Taylor kicked off the sessions with a stripped-back version of her track Dyin’ To Know, while other performances have come from London singer-songwriter Oscar Jerome (accompanied by drummer Moses Boyd and Mr D.M. of Blue Lab Beats on bass), and Dutch psychedelic trio My Baby.
The first three sessions are available to watch here.
