Gigantic Tickets and Alchemistic have teamed up to launch a new platform to showcase new talent and the best of the Nottingham music scene.

Moonshine Sessions launched earlier this month with Sleaford Mods performing Stick In A Five And Go and Bang Someone Out. Local acts Georgie, Jimi Mack, Juga-Naut and Daisy Godfrey have also been featured alongside national touring artists Banfi, Middle Kids, Titus Andronicus, No Hot Ashes and Husky Loops.

The free sessions are held in a state-of-the-art studio with top industry professionals. Artists record one of their own tracks and a cover of their choice working with the studio's in-house team. The tracks are uploaded on Moonshine along with a bio and a live ticket link and shared with Gigantic’s subscriber database.

“We know our audience actively turn to us to hear about new artists," said Gigantic founder Mark Gasson. "This is a great way to give some of the most exciting artists we come across access to the type of recording experience that may be out of reach early on and create some really outstanding and valuable content that could help build their future careers."

The joint venture between Gigantic Tickets, Alchemistic – a collective of musicians, songwriters, producers, mixers, engineers – and Jake Bugg’s manager Jason Hart has given a diverse mix of artists the opportunity to connect to a wider audience.

Hart said: “This is a match made in heaven. We have the studio set up with some of the most experienced professionals in the industry allowing us to create some really high quality content for new and touring artists while Gigantic has a sizeable audience hungry for new music discovery.”
