Mumford & Sons announce huge global arena tour

Mumford & Sons have announced a huge global arena tour to support their fourth album, Delta, released on November 16. Lead single Guiding Light debuted at No.40 last week.

The recent Music Week cover stars will be putting 800,000 tickets on sale for 60 dates next Friday (October 12). It’s Mumford & Sons’ biggest tour of their career and is set to feature an in-the-round stage set-up.

The tour will kick off in Dublin at the 3 Arena, which doubles up as an album launch party on release day. The LP is set to be one of the big Q4 releases.

The six-month tour starts with a UK run, including The O2 (November 29), followed by US dates including Madison Square Garden in New York (December 10). The trek then takes in Australia, a return to North America and ends up in Europe in spring 2019. Tour support comes from Maggie Rogers and Michael Kiwanuka

Alongside his band duties, Mumford & Sons’ keyboard player Ben Lovett also operates the Omeara venue.
