Remedy State set for Ibiza return ahead of IMS 2019

Details have been announced of the second Remedy State wellness and performance retreat in Sa Talaia Agroturismo, Ibiza.

Aimed at arts and entertainment industry artists and professionals, Remedy State presents Areté is organised by International Music Summit (IMS) co-founder Ben Turner & former head of Skrillex’s OWSLA label, Blaise DeAngelo.

The second retreat will take place from May 20-22 next year in the days preceding the 12th IMS event, with a limited number of badges and hotel accommodation packages available.

“The impact of our first event on the electronic music industry was profound and its influence on the subsequent IMS Summit was huge," said co-founder Ben Turner. "We touched a nerve and we wish to continue sharing our insight with a fascinating group of individuals who can transform your health and mind and in turn your business.”

The retreat, which follows a recent study by ticketing firm Skiddle showing that 40% of live music promoters have struggled with depression, emphasises nutrition, exercise, sleep, mindfulness, holistic medicine and physical therapy, but with an additional focus on personal development, performance, creativity and self-actualisation to help attendees reach their personal potential.

“We love music and the arts and want to support those around it to become the best possible versions of themselves," added co-founder Blaise DeAngelo. "Being well is an important first step, and there’s still a lot of work to be done around wellness in the industry, but by expanding our focus around the Areté concept, we believe we can help the industry not only heal, but excel.”

The Remedy State team will be bringing a very special world-class speaker on peak performance and leadership, with the full list of 2019 speakers, practitioners, and coaches to be announced in January.
