Venue operator SMG Europe has appointed Ade Dovey to its programming team.
Dovey, who will work alongside Sarah Hodson, will be responsible for expanding on live concerts, innovation, revenue and culture at SMG's UK venues: First Direct Arena, Leeds, Manchester Arena, Utilita Arena, Newcastle, P&J Live Aberdeen, Bonus Arena, Hull and York Barbican.
In his previous role as head of programming for the Mission Mars Group, Dovey curated and programmed three venues, producing over 700 events a year.

Personally, and professionally it’s a natural progression from programming venues from 200 capacity to 2000 and now to concert halls and arena level.
