Stormzy has been revealed as the first headliner for Glastonbury 2019.
The news, which confirms the star will top the Pyramid Stage's Friday night bill, was broken via a series of Glastonbury Free Press posters displayed in Oxfam shops.
The grime artist, who is repped by Primary Talent's Craig D'Souza, previously played the festival in 2017, when he performed second from top on the Other Stage, prior to Alt-J's set. He was also one of the headliners of this year's Wireless in Finsbury Park.
Stormzy's chart-topping debut LP Gang Signs & Prayer (2017) is certified platinum by the BPI, with sales of 355,127. His biggest standalone headline show to date was at O2 Academy Brixton in 2017.
Tickets for Glastonbury 2019, set for Worthy Farm from June 26-30, sold-out in 35 minutes in October.
Organiser Emily Eavis recently told Music Week that Arcadia will return at Glastonbury in 2019, following the inaugural standalone event from the pyrotechnics specialists in London this summer.
