Wireless Festival sells out in record time

All 135,000 tickets for this year's Wireless Festival have sold out in record time, just hours after the line-up was announced.

Now in its 14th year, the three-day event will be headlined by Cardi B and Migos, Travis Scot and A$AP Rocky in London's Finsbury Park from July 5-7. Other acts on the bill include Future, Torey Lanez, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd, Ella Mai, Juice Wrld, Stefflon Don, Tyga and AJ Tracey.

Also featured will be XXL Freshman Trippie Redd, Lil Baby, Gunna, M Huncho, Unknown T, Ambush Buzzworl, Rich The Kid, Lil Skies, Ski Mask The Slump God, Denzel Curry, Bugzy Malone, D Block Europe, Loski, JID, Maleek Berry, Steel Banglez, Cadet, Headie One, Flohio, NSG, B Young, Deno Driz, Russ Splash and Digdat.

Birmingham’s Lady Sanity, the latest addition to Festival Republic’s ReBalance programme to promote UK-based female talent, will take to the Wireless stage on Sunday. ReBalance was launched in 2017 and has so far secured and provided recording time, mentorship and support to the 13 artists.

A number of restrictions were imposed upon promoter Live Nation by Haringey Council's licensing committee following a string of complaints from residents about anti-social behaviour, drug dealing, litter, bass level noise, drug dealing and swearing by performers.

The conditions included noise restrictions, a 9.30pm finish on the festival's closing night and a request for artists not to use expletives. Live Nation appealed elements of the ruling, but later dropped its case after the council agreed "minor amendments" to noise limits.
