Wireless Festival was the most talked about music event on Twitter in London this year, according to a new report.
The Live Nation event, held in Finsbury Park in July, featured acts such as Calvin Harris, Chase & Status, J Cole, Kygo and Boy Better Know, and received 40,555 mentions on the social media site - up from 27,961 in 2015.
Wireless topped the annual Twitter Impact Index, published by London broadband provider Relish, ahead of Victoria Park's Field Day (37,140 mentions) and British Summer Time Hyde Park (30,584 mentions). Elsewhere, Rolling Stones: Exhibitionism, which ran at the Saatchi Gallery from April to September, received 30,063 mentions.
“As we continue our expansion across the capital, it’s important for us to have a finger on the pulse of what’s trending to help us better service our customers," said Bridget Lorimer, head of brand and consumer marketing at Relish.
