Amal Noor joins LVRN as senior director of A&R and manager

Atlanta-based label LVRN (Love Reniassance) has announced today (May 18) the appointment of Amal Noor as its senior director of A&R and manager. The news arrives following the appointment of Priya Minhas to director of creative content as the label aims to expand its team of women executives.

Noor has previously worked at Atlantic Records, and later at Legion Management, LLC, alongside president Christian McCurdy, and has assisted with clients such as Nija Charles, Ant Clemons and Jack Rochon. She has also worked as an independent manager for DC The Don, Russell! Fka D-Pryde, Teezo Touchdown.

Noor is also behind the success of multi-platinum producer Supah Mario who has recently signed a deal with Sony Music Publishing having credits with the likes of Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Uzi, Young Thug and more.

Speaking on the announcement, Noor said: "LVRN is everything I thought it would be and more. A family of creative, out of the box thinkers who are genuinely passionate about the art and the artist. I don't care much about just being an A&R... so I didn't want to be at just any record label. I want to be able to make a difference in people's lives and impact the culture.

“For these hopes and aspirations, it's essential to receive the space, respect and care to help make my wildest thoughts come to life,” she added. “At LVRN, the energy is felt, ideas are nurtured and more importantly, artists are developed. The plaques and awards are inevitably forthcoming but what's truly exciting is the history that's made as we speak."

LVRN’s current roster includes Summer Walker, 6lack, Shelley FKA Dram, Kitty Ca$h, BRS Kash, OMB Bloodbath, DVSN and more. The label, which was founded in 2012, also offers a full-service management team, and is a multi-media company to help find and develop talent, in addition to expanding to lead production and distribution. LVRN has also launched a mental health programme in order to give support to artists and their teams with mediation sessions and coaching while on tour to help combat anxiety and depression in the industry.
