Artist management firm Raw Power has opened a new producer management division, launching with five acclaimed rock producers on its roster.
With offices on both sides of the Atlantic, Funhouse Producer Management will see Don Jenkins (commercial director) and Craig Jennings (CEO) head up the UK operation in London, while Matt Ash (VP, US) will oversee the LA business.
The initial line-up of client represented by Funhouse includes Colin Richardson, Carl Brown, Adrian Bushby (pictured), Drew Fulk and Fred Archambault. Between them they have worked with some of the biggest acts in rock, such as Muse, Foo Fighters, Fear Factory, Slipknot and Bullet For My Valentine.
Speaking to Music Week about the new venture, Jenkins said: “We’ve [Raw Power] always taken an active role in the making of the records and we’ve formed connections with lots of producers, so it became obvious to us that this could be a great area for us to develop into. Funhouse joins the dots with what we’re already doing.”
Jenkins also revealed plans for growth over the coming months. “We are certainly looking to expand this as a division,” he said. “But we don’t want to bite off more than we can chew. We want to make sure we give the best possible service. The talent bar has been set pretty high straight from the off so we’d be looking for exceptional people to work with.”
