Bauer Media's MOJO magazine creates limited edition animated Pink Floyd cover

Bauer Media’s MOJO Magazine has revealed a special lenticular cover in celebration of 40 years of Pink Floyd’s Animals album. The limited edition collector’s issue – showing the band’s iconic pig ‘Algie‘ flying across the cover – is restricted to 5000 copies and is availble now exclusively through the website mojo4music. Inside the magazine, Roger Waters gives an exclusive interview about Animals and MOJO delivers an exclusive preview of the V&A’s Pink Floyd exhibition.

Speaking about the lenticular cover, MOJO's editor-in-chief, Phil Alexander, said: “This is the first time we’ve ever produced a lenticular cover on MOJO. The reason for doing it was simple enough: we actually just wanted the pig to fly. And it does! There are only 5000 copies of this lenticular cover, so it’s a genuine collectors’ item. Hopefully, the cover story will serve as a reminder that Animals is an album that continues to resonate. Its over-arching message seems as relevant now as it did when it was released four decades ago. Equally, MOJO’s exclusive preview of Their Mortal Remains, Floyd’s forthcoming exhibition at the V&A, is testament to the band’s ongoing impact and influence.”

The regular edition of MOJO 282 will be available in UK stores from Tuesday, March 21.
