BBC Music Introducing Live has today (September 5) announced the first round of headline gigs for this year’s three-day event, taking place from October 31 – November 2 2019 at Tobacco Dock, London.
Catfish And The Bottlemen are set to headline on Thursday October 31. DJ sets from Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Danny Howard will follow on Friday November 1.
BBC Music Introducing Live was conceived as “the ultimate event for young people looking to start or develop their career in the music industry.” Alongside the headline sets, there will be a host of panels.
In July, Dirty Hit boss and The 1975’s manager Jamie Oborne was unveiled as the headline speaker at BBC Music Introducing Live. Oborne will take part in a headline talk in the Discovery Theatre presented by Spotify, during which he will share his experiences, advice and take questions. BRIT and Ivor Novello winners The 1975 are set to follow up last year’s No.1 A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships later this year.
MTV, Transgressive Records, Universal Music UK, Beggars Group, Warner Records and DJ Mag will all be represented at sessions and panels at this year’s event.
In addition to the previously announced names, BBC has confirmed a string of other panels. You can see the full list below:
