MUSEXPO has unveiled a heavyweight line-up for its global keynote session at the 2018 conference.
On April 30, BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Asian Network controller Ben Cooper will take his place on the traditional Monday morning kick-off panel, The State Of The Sonic Union, which will assess all aspects of the modern music business.
He’ll be joined by Atlantic Records Group chairman & CEO Craig Kallman, fresh off the back of Atlantic’s Grammys triumph, and Amazon Music’s global head of programming & content strategy, Alex Luke. Also speaking will be Azoff MSG Entertainment co-president Susan Genco, Times Music COO Mandar Thakur and the Ford Motor Company’s global lead, business development & partner management, Scott Burnell.
Music Week editor Mark Sutherland will chair the panel at the W Hotel Hollywood in Los Angeles. MUSEXPO 2018 runs April 29-May 2. This will be the 20th global edition of the conference, organised by A&R Worldwide, which always attracts a stellar cast of A-list executives. Music Week partnered with A&R Worldwide on a London edition of the conference in 2016.
Other speakers across this year’s conference include BMG’s Zach Katz, Craig David’s manager Colin Lester, Chop Shop founder Alexandra Patsavas and BBC Music boss Bob Shennan.
