Calling all music accountants! The deadline to enter the all-new Music Week Awards category, Accountancy Firm Of The Year, is midnight tonight.
The award is open to any accountancy firm with clients in the B2B music industry, with staff based in the UK. You can find out the relevant criteria and apply here.
On announcing the award in January, Music Week editor Mark Sutherland said: “Accountancy is one of the most important and growing areas of the music business. These are the firms that literally keep the biz in the black so it’s only right and proper that they should take their place in the Music Week Awards line-up. Plus, we know they’ll have the funds to get their round in…”
The category opens and closes for entries on a different timeline to our other categories, taking into account that December and January are the busiest times of the year for accountancy firms.
Last year, Music Week spoke to some of the accountancy world's leading lights for a special report exploring the sector's crucial role in the music business. Subscribers can read it in full here.
The Music Week Awards take place on Thursday, May 9 at a new venue Battersea Evolution. View the confirmed shortlists here.
Music Week and YouTube Music will be partnering for this year’s event, while MQA is official social media partner.
