Helena Djurkovic has been appointed as the new chief executive of not-for-profit licensing agency Educational Recording Agency (ERA). Djurkovic will take up the role at ERA on June 5 - she replaces Helen Nicholson, who is stepping down from leading ERA after 24 years.
Speaking about her appointment, Djurkovic said: “To be chosen to lead an organisation that serves to create excitement and engagement in the process of learning through use of world-class broadcast content is an honour. I look forward to taking ERA into its next chapter.”
Deborah Annetts, chair of ERA added: “Helena Djurkovic’s track record of driving transformational change in complex public, private and third sector organisations makes her the perfect fit to take ERA forward. We look forward to welcoming her in her new role as chief executive in June 2017.”
