MTV UK has announced the launch of its latest music channel, Club MTV, and the expansion of its eponymous touring brand.
The channel, which replaces MTV Dance on Sky 354 and Virgin 319, will celebrate clubbing in all its forms and aligns with the events franchise of the same name, which is now the biggest dance music touring brand in the UK. Its debut is being celebrated with a 15-date UK tour throughout May and June.
Since launching in 2013, Club MTV has carried out over 250 events, playing to more than 400,000 fans in total.
MTV has been the No.1 music television network in the UK for 16-34s for three consecutive years. In 2017, the MTV Music Pack took a 37% share of the Music TV market and reached 19% of 16-34s each month.
