Music Week can today unveil the second part of the shortlist for the Music Week Sync Awards, which returns for its fourth year this October. The event will once again celebrate the very best sync individuals, teams and placements across a broad range of media over the past 12 months.
It's a hugely strong field across all categories, with the major labels and publishers set to fight it out with a wealth of independent talent. And the hotly-contested Sync Artist Of The Year category has this year attracted a stunning array of talent, with Barns Courtney, Ellie Goulding, Michael Kiwanuka, Max Richter, Rag'N'Bone Man and Tiggs Da Author all in with a shout of the prestigious award.
Due to the unprecedented number of entries for all of the categories this year, we revealed the shortlist in two parts to enable specially selected judges time to watch all submitted entries and allow for careful consideration before deciding the winners. You can read the first half of the shortlist, which was announced back in July, here.
The ceremony will take place on October 19 at a new and bigger venue, 8 Northumberland Avenue in London, to accomodate phenomenal demand after 2016's sell-out ceremony. The night will be hosted by BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Shaun Keaveny.
