Emily Weber

Position Music has promoted Emily Weber to vice president and made her head of sync.

Formerly overseeing the company's movie trailer, TV promo and international advertising business, Weber will now be responsible for building and overseeing the nine-strong sync team as they work across advertising, film, television, trailers, and video games globally.

“Every day I get to collaborate with the most talented artists, composers and producers in the world and I’m grateful to have the freedom to pursue my seemingly crazy ideas, because pushing new boundaries is how we will evolve and grow as a company," declared Webber. "We have an incredible sync team and it’s truly my honour to guide and champion their continued success and development.”

Announcing the promotion, Position Music's president and CEO Tyler Bacon praised the Berklee-trained-saxophonist-turned-exec's passion and creativity.

“Emily Weber is passionate about music and super-serving her clients," he explained. "Her ability to help creatives connect the dots is truly impressive. I am thrilled to have her leading our sync team and I have full confidence that she will continue to grow and evolve her staff into one of the best sync teams in the world.”

Earlier this year Position Music promoted to Jake Versluis to VP of A&R and Interactive Media.
