TreeSisters.org named Music Week Women In Music Awards 2019 charity partner

TreeSisters.org will be the charity partner for the 2019 Music Week Women In Music Awards we are proud to announce.

The organisation is a global network of women who are helping toe restore tropical forests around the world via plantings funded by monthly donations.

"Music can grow trees, and with this new partnership between the Women's Music Awards and TreeSisters.org, it is about to start growing a forest," explained TreeSisters.org's founder and CEO Clare Dubois.

"As our climates change, musicians are becoming the bards and truth-tellers of the great turning. TreeSisters is proud to provide you all with an easy way to make a huge difference; embedding trees into music and growing forest across nine unique tropical ecosystems to literally change the face of our world."

The sixth annual ceremony, in association with AIM and UK Music, takes place at The Brewery in London on Friday, November 8.
