Weekend music TV round-up: Tracyleanne Jefford bows out of X Factor; Liam Payne shines on Sounds Like Friday Night

Leon Mallett and Tracyleanne Jefford became the latest contestants to be eliminated from ITV's The X Factor over the weekend.

In a week themed around "Viva Latino" Mallett, mentored by Louis Walsh, bowed out on Saturday after his performance of Get Lucky by Daft Punk, while Jefford, part of Nicole Scherzinger's overs category, exited last night following her take on Jennifer Lopez' Ain't Your Mama. They are respectively the third and fourth singers to depart this year's competition.

In the "Prize Fight", Kevin Davy White triumphed over Saturday's heat winner, four-piece Rak-Su to win the chance to record with a renowned music producer. White, from the overs category, played Smooth by Santana, whereas Rak-Su performed their original song, Dimelo.

Britain's Got Talent winner Tokio Myers was the special guest on Saturday's show, performing his new single, Angel, and Rita Ora starred on Sunday with her new track Anywhere. Next week's shows will feature a double elimination on each night.

Meanwhile, the second episode of BBC One's new primetime music show saw Liam Payne co-host and perform two tracks including a cover version of Pink's What About Us. London Grammar and Mabel also appeared, while Dizzee Rascal was drafted in to replace Liam Gallagher, who cancelled his scheduled performance on doctor's orders.

Demi Lovato, Plan B and Loyle Carner have been confirmed for this week's show on Friday at 7.30pm, with the November 17 edition to feature Craig David, Anne-Marie and The Killers.
