Booking agent and manager Ben Hylands and Belgian IP lawyer Bindu De Knockhave been added to the Buma Rocks! conference programme, completing this year's line-up.
The programme consists of a keynote speech by Alex Agnew, a panel called Development Of A Live Act With Keith Naisbitt, Julia Frank, Ben Hylands and Tjerk Maas, amongst other topics of discussion.
The fourth edition of Buma Rocks!, the international conference and showcase festival for loud music, will take place on Saturday June 4 2016.
Buma Rocks! is partnering with Dutch radio station Radio Veronica this year to deliver a 24/7 channel offering a varied selection of Dutch metal and hardrock, mixed with new international tracks and classics from the genre’s biggest names.
Buma Rocks! Radio cwent live yesterday (April 25) and be listened to through the website of Radio Veronica.
Erik de Zwart, station director and DJ at Radio Veronica said: "Buma Cultuur and Buma Rocks! promote new musical talent from the Netherlands, just like Radio Veronica does. In our programming you will hear all of the well-known acts, but we feature burgeoning talent in a programme like Breakthru as well. I think it’s great that we have agreed to this collaboration."
Elsewhere, on April 15-16 a Dutch delegation attended the third Global Rock Summit in Los Angeles, which took place at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Representatives of companies from rock communities around the globe spoke about label and publishing signings, booking, management, festivals, sync and other key activities. Buma Rocks! presented the keynote interview with Marco Collins, the legendary rock DJ from Seattle. Collins will also attend this year's Buma Rocks! on June 4.
This year's Buma Rocks! Export Award will be handed out between the conference and the Trade BBQ held at the FortaRock grounds. Those who hold tickets to Buma Rocks! have access to both the award ceremony and the BBQ.
