US market posts 1% growth; streaming accounts for one third of revenues

Pushed by a surge in streaming revenues, the US recorded music market was up 0.9% to $7.0bn at estimated retail value in 2015. At wholesale value, the market was up 0.8% to $4.95 billion, posting growth for the for the fifth consecutive yearaccording to statistics released today by the Recorded Industry Association of America (RIAA).
