Avenged Sevenfold are trying to exit their contract with Warner Bros. Records after releasing four albums on the label since 2005, and are now being sued for damages, according to a report in Billboard.
The band are trying to use California's “seven-year rule” to do so, which allows the exit from personal contracts after seven years have passed, but only under certain circumstances.
