Warner Chappell Music Nashville has signed an exclusive worldwide deal with country singer-songwriter Mickey Guyton.
Guyton is signed for recordings with Capitol Records Nashville.
“Mickey’s authenticity and honesty comes through in her powerful songwriting, and really resonates,” said Ben Vaughn, president and CEO of Warner Chappell Music Nashville. “She’s an incredible person, vocalist and entertainer. We are so excited to welcome her to the Warner Chappell Music family.”
“I have spent the last few years challenging myself to be more honest with my songwriting,” said Guyton. “I’m so proud and honoured that Ben and his team have recognised the work I have done on this soul-searching journey and have welcomed me into their family.”
In 2016, Guyton was nominated for the Academy of Country Music Award for New Female Vocalist. She performed I’m Standing With You from the Breakthrough soundtrack at this year’s show alongside Chrissy Metz, Carrie Underwood, Lauren Alaina and Maddie & Tae.
