Prince William presented Beggars Group chairman Andy Heath with his CBE at Buckingham Palace yesterday (October 22).
The xecutive, who is also the chairman of UK Music and British Music Rights, received the honour for services to the music industry in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list this summer.
“It was a really proud moment and an enjoyable ceremony. The honour is not just for me, it’s for the whole music industry,” Heath explained after he was invested with the award.
Heath, who was given an MBE for services to music publishing in 2009, has more than 40 years experience in the music industry and has consistently adopted a long-term approach to talent development during his career.
