'Bigger and better things': Richard Aurigema in at Songtrust

Richard Aurigema has joined Songtrust as vice president of copyright, the royalties and publishing administration company has announced today (August 19).

Aurigema will lead Songtrust’s copyright and publishing operations teams and will report to global head of rights management operations, Brad Yuan.

Former EMI, BMG and, most recently, Sony/ATV exec Aurigema said: “I am really looking forward to working with Songtrust’s already excellent copyright administration team to build a best-in-class department to service all our clients’ needs. With over two million compositions that Songtrust administers – registering more than 5,000 new songs every week and more songwriters than any other music publisher – I’m very excited to help our already passionate team deliver even bigger and better things for our growing client base.”

Aurigema’s remit is to deliver scale, efficiency, and precision to Songtrust’s copyright operation, simultaneously working alongside its technology team to developing new initiatives.
