Concord Music Publishing has signed a new global publishing deal with Richard “Biff” Stannard, extending their relationship originally inked in 2020.
Stannard’s three-decade career has seen him win an Ivor Novello award alongside multiple ASCAP awards.
He is a key songwriter with 10 songs on Kylie Minogue’s blockbuster album Tension. Stannard’s songwriting partnership with Minogue spans over two decades, including the hits Love At First Sight, In Your Eyes and Please Stay, as well as works on her 2018 album Golden and 2020 album Disco.
His co-writing credits also include the Spice Girls, U2, Sia, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Ellie Goulding and many more. To date, he has contributed to 40 hit singles, including 10 No.1s in the UK.
Stannard was responsible for developing, writing and producing for the Spice Girls. His songs with them include the multi-million selling global hits Wannabe, Viva Forever, Mama, Goodbye, 2 Become 1 – all of which are also represented by Concord Music Publishing.
