Downtown has named Tristan Wilson as head of sync & brand partnerships in the UK.
Wilson will work on collaborations with advertising agencies, music supervisors and brands to create opportunities for Downtown's client roster. He will report to EVP, Jedd Katrancha.
Wilson joins Downtown after four years as senior creative manager at Warner Music UK, where he worked on sync campaigns with artists including Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Royal Blood and Ed Sheeran.
He launched his career at independent labels Beggars and Domino. Wilson later moved to BBH, where he worked as a music supervisor across brands such as Audi, British Airways, Google, and Lynx.
Downtown has also named Peter Walsh as creative associate. Based in London, he will be responsible for exploiting Downtown's song catalogue for TV, film, advertisements and brand opportunities. He previously worked with the company's global creative services and licensing teams in New York.
Katrancha said: "With our growing European presence, having a strong creative voice in our London office is essential, and when it comes to sync licensing and strategic marketing, Tristan brings exactly that. With Peter by his side, all things are possible, and I'm excited to see the impact they will have on our clients and their catalogues."
