Mute Song has joined IMPEL in a move that managing director David McGinnis said will mean the “best possible service” for the publisher’s clients.

The London-based organisation represents a roster including Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Max Richter, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Underworld, Bob Geldof, Nadine Shah and more and was established in 1983 by Mute Records founder Daniel Miller. Its acts have created music for use in film, TV, ballet, opera and across the arts.

IMPEL Collective Management represents the digital publishing rights of its members, which include Bucks Music Group, Beggars Music, Reservoir Music, Kassner Music, CTM, ABKCO, Truelove Music and Faber Music.
