Concord Music has agreed a new global long-term publishing deal with Mark Ronson.
Ronson is currently aiming for a Top 3 single with Miley Cyrus collaboration Nothing Breaks Like A Heart.
He’s also enjoyed chart success with his Silk City side project, as well as co-writing Shallow from the A Star Is Born soundtrack.
Both Silk City and Shallow, recorded by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, earned Ronson Grammy nominations.
The new deal with Concord continues his long-term creative relationship with Concord Music EVP worldwide creative, Kim Frankiewicz.
Frankiewicz said: “Mark is without doubt a creative that is without equal – he is also one of the nicest guys in the business to work with. His ability to seamlessly transcend genres and artists makes him both an incredibly exciting as well rewarding artist to work with.
“With Mark no idea is ever off the table, a true artist that is acclaimed for his instinctive ability to create songs and music that connect with a multitude of audiences. He serves as a true music force not only for songwriters, producers and artists, but also for everyone involved in music”.
Concord chief publishing executive, Jake Wisely, said: “As Mark extends his incredible run of hits, I’m thrilled to extend Concord’s relationship with such a charmed and charming creator.”
He added: “I’m also immensely proud of Kim and the entire Concord Publishing team, who are consistently delivering big wins.”
