Riptide Music Group partners with Sky on trailer music

Riptide Music Group has partnered with Sky on its new trailer music label, Wall Of Noise.

The sync, rights management and creative company provides music for advertising, movie trailers, TV programming and promos, motion pictures, video games, and multi-media productions.

Riptide will represent Wall Of Noise across the US and Canada. The label works to deliver catalogue tailored for producers, editors and creatives working in motion picture advertising and major network TV Promo.

The Wall Of Noise team worked with Sky Television’s trailer producers to create the library to meet the needs for its numerous movie channels. Riptide Music Group is confident that the label has potential in North America.

Geoff Cox, Wall Of Noise producer, said: “Riptide is a dynamic company with big ambitions - we are hugely excited about this new partnership. They have a great reputation with proven success in the trailer market, and we are confident of a long and fruitful relationship.”

Keatly Haldeman, CEO, Riptide Music Group, said: “Sky TV produced this catalogue of trailer and promo music because they couldn’t find anything previously available that matched the positioning and quality of their brand. Sky is an iconic UK network, not to mention a very prestigious partner for us. We’re truly honoured that they chose Riptide to represent their official music catalogue in the US and Canada.”

Brandon Rauch, Riptide’s creative manager, trailers, added: “The Wall Of Noise catalogue is going to be a game changer! I’m excited about the catalogue’s extensive dramatic cues, its use of strings, and the variety of organic sonic elements it features. Through our collaboration with the Wall Of Noise team, we will also be creating an entirely new sound design catalogue – one that will be useful on a regular basis for music supervisors and trailer editors.”
