Tom Ward to host Music Week Sync Awards 2018

The biggest night out in the sync business is almost here – and comedian Tom Ward will be the host for the Music Week Sync Awards 2018.

Ward’s third Edinburgh Festival show, Popcorn Lung, made waves earlier this summer, while he has been on the road with Joe Lycett this year, too so the huge crowd at this year's awards can expect plenty of laughs to go with  their awards.

The fifth edition of the Music Week Sync Awards takes place on October 18 at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms.

As ever, the sync sector is anticipating its most hotly-contested night out of the year, with 23 trophies to be awarded in recognition of the labels, publishers, supervisors and executives behind a stellar 12 months.

Last year’s winners included Universal Music Publishing, Barns Courtney, Bucks Music and BT Sport. You can read the full list of 2017 winners here and also relive the night with our top moments here.
