Tim Hayes has moved from Warner Chappell Music to Music Sales Group, Music Week has learned.
Hayes has taken on the role of new business manager at Music Sales Group.
At Warner Chappell, Hayes was part of last-year’s triumphant publishing sync team at the Music Week Sync Awards. With an emphasis on UK TV, including the increasingly important Love Island, he was in charge of pitching and licensing Warner Chappell repertoire.
In the new role he will target business opportunities with sync and digital licensing platforms. Hayes will also pitch catalogue direct to music supervisors, agencies and brands for sync, as well as DSPs for playlisting opportunities.
Music Sales Group has a roster of classical composers, including Ludovico Einaudi, Michael Nyman and Philip Glass, alongside songwriters, artists and TV/film composers.
Hayes was at Warner Chappell from April 2015 and spent the first two years as senior music consultant.
He was previously production music assistant at Bucks Music Group.
