Entries for this year’s AIM Independent Music Awards are now open as the body confirms a new venue. The ceremony – which will mark 20 years of the Association Of Independent Music (AIM) – will take place on September 3 at London’s iconic Roundhouse in Camden, following a long run at The Brewery.
Furthermore, for the first time ever, the awards will be followed by a live headline show from leading independent artists, with tickets available to members of the public. Tickets for the ceremony, which include a drinks reception, three-course meal, access to the after-party and a host of live performances, will be available from June 3.
Commenting on the 20th Anniversary edition of the awards, AIM CEO Paul Pacifico said: “The Independent Music community is a lightning rod of diversity, innovation and cultural relevance. The AIM Independent Music Awards reflects and celebrates the sector’s successes across both culture and commerce, recognising the dynamic, creative and entrepreneurial people and businesses that continue to drive the agenda both at home and abroad. This year we are delighted to take the awards to the iconic Roundhouse and invite music fans to celebrate alongside the artists and their teams.”
Submissions are open to AIM members and non-members alike at here www.aimawards.co.uk and will close on June 14.
