There's just a week to go until the Music Week Women In Music Awards 2018, and the latest partner for the prestigious industry event has been revealed as Anxiety UK.
Produced in association with AIM, UK Music and WIN, the ceremony takes place at The Brewery in London on Friday, November 9.
Anxiety UK is the charity partner for Music Week Women In Music. The organisation's presence will help highlight the importance of wellbeing for people working in the music business.
Nicky Lidbetter, CEO of Anxiety UK, said: “Anxiety UK is delighted to partner with the fifth annual Women in Music awards. We recognise that anxiety, stress and anxiety based depression affects people from all walks of life and occupations including the music industry. Good mental health and wellbeing is of paramount importance and it is good to see that through this partnership, recognition and profile is being given to this area.”
With a total of 11 awards on offer, regular categories including Businesswoman Of The Year, Inspirational Artist, Campaigner, Rising Star, Music Champion, New Artist Award, International Woman Of The Year and The Company Award are all due to return. Sponsored by Focusrite, the Music Creative category is new for 2018.
The Roll Of Honour is also back for another year, recognising outstanding work in the industry.
