BPI's Geoff Taylor on the Mercury Prize plans during Covid-19
BPI and BRIT Awards chief exec Geoff Taylor has told Music Week that he wants to build on the “fantastic” BBC support for the Hyundai Mercury Prize.
The annual Eventim Apollo ceremony is unable to go ahead because of Covid-19. But the BPI, which organises the prize, has ramped up the broadcast coverage this week in partnership with BBC Music.
