Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar win big at the Grammys

Bruno Mars claimed six awards and Kendrick Lamar five at the 60th annual Grammy Awards at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Mars took Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year and Best R&B Album Of The Year for 24K Magic, Song Of The Year, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance for That's What I Like. Lamar clinched Best Rap Album for Damn., Best Rap Song, Rap Performance and Video for Humble. and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for Loyalty with Rihanna.

Ed Sheeran, who was controversially snubbed in the nominations for the major categories, took two awards - Best Pop Solo Performance for Shape Of You and Best Pop Vocal Album for ÷. The late Leonard Cohen was also recognised, with You Want It Daker taking Best Rock Performance.

Kesha made a lasting impact with an emotionally-charged performance of Praying, accompanied by Camila Cabello, Julia Michaels, Cyndi Lauper, Andra Day and the Resistance Revival Chorus. Other performers included Bruno Mars & Cardi B, Lamar, Rihanna, U2, Childish Gambino and Lady Gaga.
